Regarding COVID-19:

We Are Open for business

But please, if it is not an emergency, stay home. Our community is fighting a tough battle to protect the lives and livelihood of us all. As a boarding kennel it is our duty to serve the community, and we have remained open throughout the COVID-19 pandemic as an essential business. Throughout this crisis, we will continue to remain open as long as we can in order to continue to serve the communities and animals that we love.

Open for All Services

We are open for baths, nail trimming, day care, boarding and emergency boarding.

Serving Essential Workers

We have extended our hours of pick up and drop off for Daycare in order to better serve essential workers who are working long hours, especially those in the healthcare sector. Please call to make special arrangements.

Protecting Our clients & Ourselves

In order to maintain the health of our clients as well as our staff, we have implemented the following safety procedures in the hopes of reducing the risk of transmitting COVID-19 at Alpha Valley Boarding Kennel:

  • The office is now effectively closed to customers. Please call when you arrive for pickups and drop-offs and one of our staff will come out front to assist you.

  • We disinfect everything customer-owned as it arrives. This includes bedding and food containers.

  • We are limiting the quantity of items that customers may bring in with their pets. Please try to limit these items to bedding and food containers.

  • Regular sanitization. Our staff disinfects critical surfaces and exercises vigorous use of hand sanitizer in between each and every customer visit.

  • Social distancing. All staff will be practicing social distancing practices at all times and we ask that our customers do the same. This includes but is not limited to maintaining a 6-foot distance between customers and staff whenever possible and regularly washing an sanitizing hands.

  • Distanced payments. At this time, we are only taking payments over the phone. You may call us during normal business hours to arrange a payment.

  • Altered work schedules and procedures. Employees now work areas of the facility alone in order to maintain the 6 feet of required distance. We communicate with each other via text and phone calls in order to minimize face to face contact with each other.

  • Altered methods of communication. We ask that customers attempt to keep communications with Alpha Valley Boarding Kennel via phone or email. Please attempt to minimize conversation with staff during pickups and drop-offs. Thank you!
